The team over a Rocketcat Games are about to release their sequal to the hit Hook Champ, and decided to get us all hooked back on the original whilst we wait; with a further update to what is undoubtably one of the most under-rated game on the App Store and in my top 5 OpenFeint enable games. Firemint Win Apple Awards

We are absolutely thrilled to have been honored with two incredibly prestigious Apple Design Awards for Flight Control HD on iPad and Real Racing on iPhone. Firemint is the first company in the 14 year history of the awards to have two winning apps in one year.

Flight Control HD is the iPad adaptation of Firemint’s massive iPhone hit that invented the “line drawing” genre, and introduced numerous tweaks to make it a perfect fit for the iPad’s larger display. More information about Flight Control HD is available at http://firemint.com/flightcontrolhd.

A Cross between City Building games and Tycoon games, achieved a whole lot better than Tap Tap Tycoon did, and has alot fo content for the price. Paradise Island could turn out to be on the releases of the month! A credit purchase system may be its only downfall.

Game tasks:
- build all kinds of buildings on the Island to attract more tourists;
- watch tourists and stuff – look how they walk on the beach, swim in the sea and do constructions;
- improve your buildings, repair them and gain profit;
- watch over the number of employees, expenditure of power, balance on the accounts;

Pure Brilliance!

Adventure games of this style have been proved a good fit on the iPhone so far, with Gamebook Advenures and Broken Sword leading the way, however the team at Straanlooper have convinced me to free up almost 300mb worth of space to download Hector, what looks to be the funniest most interesting game on the platform!

Already an amazing and immense game withover 200 hours of gameplay Kyle Pool keeps adding further episodes to Wesnoth. Much of the probles the port faced when it was originally released seem to have been resolved and the game just gets better and better, whilst episode 2 added OF Achievements how can you not own this game with its huge value for money, whilst on sale for 59p/$0.99
