Call of Duty: World at War Zombies [App Store]
Even if you don’t own an Xbox 360 it is impossible to miss the hype surrounding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and out of nowhere Activision has released an iPhone version of one of its games.
World at War Zombies involves a map from the console version in which you are pitted against hoards of nazi zombies, in a survival match, in either single player or 4-player multiplayer (bluetooth or wifi).
Currently priced at £5.99 with the promise of additional maps and upgrades via DLC. The game is on the higher tier of iPhone game pricing, where many like Real Racing struggled, but World at War Zombies is more than likely going to benefit a lot from the Call of Duty hype.
Features:
- Nacht der Untoten (Night of the Undead) map – face wave upon wave of zombies in true fps style
- Power ups and upgrades as you search and kill
- Achievement list and worldwide leaderboards
- Future DLC
With amazing graphics and such a proven pedigree, it’ll be no surprise if this is a hit. The £5.99/$9.99 price tag might seem a little bit steep, but just think… Who doesn’t want to play ZOMBIE Call of Duty on their iPhone?
looks like my prediction was somewhat right COD – even with only one map and being priced at £5.99 is currently no.2 in the UK grossing chart
Call of Duty looks great on iPhone! This is one of my favorite games, too.
