Initially to combat the release of Modern Warfare 2, Ngmoco lowered the time taken for youe energy bar to refill from four hours to one. This change was due to last until midnight on Thursady 12th November. The promotion has been higly popular with players who have so far been lamenting the systems of Ngmoco’s two free-plus-play games in the App Store. Eliminate is one of the best games on the App Store yet currently has a 2.5 star rating, with the main complaint being pricing. Similar complaints can be seen with Touch Pets.

It would be interesting to find out how this promotion and MW2 have affected the revenues from Eliminate, but the game has fallen out of the top 50 grossing apps in the UK. However, last night ngmoco revealed:

Woof! @TouchPetsDogs: We’ve replaced you food with premium chow. Now your puppies will have a lot more energy

There is currently no expiry dates to these plans so why not check out both games in the app store and earn some credits, we can only hope that the promotion will last for a while or prices will be altered in the future updates.
